The Aprica pass, at an altitude of 1,181 metres, is located on the eastern edge of the Orobien Alps in Valtellina and links the valley of the Adda to Valcamonica. Ideally placed for easy access to other locations in the surrounding vallies, it is very near the Swiss border, the valley of Poschiavo and the Bernina Pass.
