APRICA - MONTE BARADELLO SKI MOUNTAINEERING ROUTE

The path begins at the Baradello ski slope departure point and proceeds upwards along the Superpanoramica slope. Ascend adjacent to the chair lift until you come to the crossroads, with the path leading to "Bratte Basse"; turn left and take the snow-covered path leading upwards, along a few turns. The path continues towards the ski slope, while the ski mountaineering itinerary ascends past the lodge on your right. The path enters the forest and continues up to "Roccolo" (from here a tower used in the past for spotting and hunting avifauna is visible) and continues on the right, westwards, ascending along the crest of the mountain that divides Aprica from the Campovecchio Valley. As you ascend the wood thins out and here you can admire 360-degree panoramic views of the Rhaetian Alps, the Adamello range and all the peaks surrounding Aprica. The path reaches the upper part of the Valscesa slope and from here the way back to town is along a groomed slope.
