For anyone looking to try sport fishing for the first time, there is no shortage of courses or opportunities for hiring all the necessary equipment at artificial lakes in Aprica and the local area. We highly recommend the Magnolta artificial lake, located at an altitude of 2000 m. Framed by the eastern peaks of the Orobien Alps, it has its very own picnic area, complete with barbecue. In Corteno Golgi you'll find the fishing lake at Ristoro del Pescatore. In Aprica surroundings we suggest “Laghetto di Grosotto” and Sommasassa lake in Teglio.
