Prena path

A little-known yet easy itinerary that gives you the chance to admire the slope that lies east of Pian di Gembro Nature Reserve . Leave your car at the parking lots close to Ristoro Pian di Gembro and take the path on the right, which immediately ascends after the cross country ski snowcat garage.

The first short stretch leads along a path which then becomes a road, up to the junction leading to "Prosolone". Keep right and you'll pass a few mountain lodges, towards Monte Borca. After a flat stretch of road, you'll reach a few turns leading upwards; take the junctions on the left to return westwards and towards the Prena plateau.

The path will take you past this wonderful panoramic point of the Orobien Alps, before descending towards "Prosolone" and returning to the starting point of the ring.
