B.06 Aprica - Magnolta - Premalt Tour
A challenging tour that is not suitable for the unfit or beginners, for discovering the Orobien area of Aprica and Corteno Golgi. From Aprica go up the dirt road that leads to Malga Magnolta, with gradients so challenging they may sometimes feel insurmountable without pedal assist. Upon arriving in Magnolta, continue along the "Gran via del Gallo", then descend towards malga Palabione.
From here a path characterised by continuous ups and downs leads to Baradello. After a short descent along a dirt road, take the very steep path on your right, which leads to Premalt. Here a long descend leads to contrada S. Pietro, after which you will return to Aprica, along the road. In the summer you can take the cable car: a 10-minute ride will eliminate an elevation difference of 680 metres. The itinerary can also be completed in the opposite direction.
