Valentina Path

Start from Piazza delle sei contrade, go down Corso Roma eastwards, up to the junction leading to the church of SS. Pietro e Paolo and the Sanctuary of Maria Ausiliatrice. Go up Via Panoramica and just past the sanctuary you'll find the start of the path on your right.

The first part ascends among fields, leading eastwards, past a few dry-stone walls. Panoramic views of Aprica, Baradello in particular, and of the Adamello range, accompany us until we enter the fir forest. The path ascends, leading to a dirt road. Turn right and take the road that gently ascends towards "Plane" spot, where you'll find a junction. Bear left, then keep right at the next junction. The path leads to the Pian di Gembro nature reserve, and the picnic area
